Q: What are the current financial demands on the Carousel Center?

A: Unfortunately, the demand for services has grown at such a rapid rate that it has placed tremendous financial pressure on the organization.  The cost of providing services averages $1700 per child while the average reimbursement from Medicaid and other sources is approximately $385 per child.  Given the extreme difference in our costs versus reimbursements, we are constantly searching for funding, grants and benefactors.
