Carousel Child Advocacy Center Beer and Wine Festival\, presented by Lighthouse Beer and Wine\, has become an integral part of Carousel’s yearly budget. This festival helps Carousel Center so they can continue to help those in need in our surrounding counties and cities. Carousel Child Advocacy Center Beer & Wine Festival supports the services provided to child survivors of abuse.  \nLighthouse Beer and Wine puts on this fantastic event once a year\, always in the wonderful month of October. Mark your calendars for Saturday\, October 26th\, for this year’s 22nd annual Carousel Child Advocacy Center Beer and Wine Festival. This is the beer event of the year– more breweries wielding more delights than you can possibly sample\, live music\, and delicious food\, all in one fantastic venue! Last year at the new Live Oak Pavilion was an amazing success; we’re so excited to be back at the park & venue. It’s promising to be the best-est time ever\, at the most beautiful location we can imagine. In our Tri-County Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Initiative\, Partner in Prevention is a designation awarded by the nonprofit Darkness to Light to organizations and businesses that effectively protect children from child sexual abuse in their communities.  \n\nTrain 90-100% of their staff/volunteers in Stewards of Children®\, AND \nCommit to providing ongoing child sexual abuse prevention training. \n\nPartner in Prevention was created as a national standard to help parents and caregivers recognize organizations that take child protection seriously by implementing protection policies (if youth-serving) and training staff to prevent child sexual abuse. It also serves to educate the public on the prevalence of child sexual abuse and build demand for education and prevention efforts.
