Thank you for joining us for the most fun event of the year!
For the 19th year, the annual Making Legends Local Gala & Lip Sync Battle is Back! After shaking off the Covid Blues, Movie Soundtrack Magic: Lights, Camera, Lipsync: raised a record $173,000 of much-needed funds in support of the mission and services of the Carousel Center.
We started the night at 6:30 pm at the Red-Carpet Reception with heavy hors d’oeuvres by Angie’s Catering, desserts by Sweet D’s, beer from Waterline beer, and wine from Lighthouse Beer & Wine.
Guests came and walked the red carpet like a star. Gala dressed to match the year’s theme, as their favorite character from their favorite movie or movie soundtrack, cocktail attire/Movie Glam too!
The LipSync Battle was EPIC! At 8 pm acts 13 ACTS rom local businesses, groups of friends, community organizations, and civic groups battled for the much-coveted Golden Microphone Lip Sync Legend of the Year and Ka-Ching! Challenge Champion trophies, along with bragging rights for the next year.
