Celebrate Healing…
The majority of trauma therapy is 16-18 weeks, depending on their trust in adults and many other factors. Some children take months or longer on their healing journey. We celebrate their hard work when they are ready with a small graduation ceremony.
Thank you, Nothing Bundt Cakes Wilmington, which donates a cake for each graduation. You can help make this celebration of their hard work special by donating a gift card of $25 or $50. The therapist will use the card to purchase items to make that child feel special and loved – perhaps ice cream or a game for the family.
Each ceremony is as unique as the child. Many of our children have never had a birthday cake or a celebration just for them, so this ceremony is very, very special for all involved.
