Nathan Spiteri is a filmmaker, actor, writer and survivor

Get ready to hear a story of incredible resilience and transformation from someone who has lived through the darkest experiences—and emerged with a powerful message of hope and healing. Nathan’s journey from a childhood marred by sexual abuse to becoming a global advocate for survivors is nothing short of inspiring.

Born in Canberra, Australia, Nathan survived unimaginable trauma as a child. Threatened with his own life and that of his family, he struggled to cope, turning to drugs, violence, and sex as a means to survive. After hitting rock bottom, Nathan found a way through, thanks to intensive therapy and support from Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and Sex Addicts Anonymous. His journey of recovery and healing has led him to dedicate his life to helping others escape the pain he once knew so well.

Nathan is not just a survivor—he is a voice for change. His advocacy work spans the globe, from his involvement with the Children’s Liberation Foundation to his role as an ambassador for the Australia Says No More campaign, which fights to end domestic violence and sexual abuse. Nathan also supports SAMSN, one of Australia’s leading organizations for male survivors of child sexual abuse, and Menslink, which helps young men navigate tough times with strength and resilience.

But Nathan’s story doesn’t end there. An accomplished actor, writer, and producer, he has starred in films and theatre productions across Australia and the U.S. His life story is now being developed into a feature film and a limited series, a testament to his remarkable journey. His memoir, Toy Cars, dives deep into his experiences and offers readers a raw and honest look at what it takes to rise above trauma.

Nathan’s message is one of courage, survival, and empowerment, and his keynote at our event is not to be missed. Whether you’re a survivor, an advocate, or someone seeking inspiration, Nathan’s story will move you, challenge you, and leave you ready to join the fight to end sexual abuse and exploitation.

Come hear Nathan speak and be part of a movement that is changing lives, one story at a time. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to be inspired by someone who has not only survived but is making a lasting difference in the world.
