Santa is notoriously difficult to capture in a picture,
here are only a few of the Santas we were able to catch in the act.

TCC Holiday Hugs program involves matching a family or child in need with a Secret Santa who is willing to sponsor them this holiday season. This is not a real picture of a TCC child but a representation of the spirit of giving that embodies the Holiday Hug Program.

Holiday Hugs matches a child and/or their family in need with a Secret Santa to make a child’s Santa wishes come true. You are gifting these caregivers some of the control that they feel was taken from them due to child physical/sexual abuse.

A Secret Santa may be an individual, family, group of co-workers, or an entire business. You can ensure that a child’s Santa wishes are fulfilled and that they have a very special holiday. Sign up on the form below to be a Secret Santa. You will be matched with a child survivor, their siblings, and their family in need to fulfill their wishlist(s).

Our team collects wishlists from our families in need starting in early October. Secret Santas are matched with a child, children, and/or family and are provided the wishlist the week before Thanksgiving; All gifts (unwrapped) must be delivered to our 1501 Dock St location.

“We cannot help everyone in the community, but we are absolutely going to ensure Carousel’s families have the support they need. Our families have been through some very difficult times over the past year” said Franchesca Ramirez, Family Advocate Supervisor & Coordinator of the Holiday Hugs Program

Holiday Hugs is a small way Carousel Center does to help them add some normalcy back into their lives. You relieve adult caregivers’ concerns about providing a special Christmas morning for their children, especially after one or more of these kiddos have needed services at Carousel Center, what a priceless gift you will give!

Over the years, Secret Santa has donated toys, bikes, art supplies, and hundreds of wish list items for
The Carousel Center’s Holiday Hugs children and caregivers.

Many years ago, the idea of Holiday Hugs began as a cooperative effort with American Legion Post 10, Stanley B-Jammin’ 99.9, Alan Perry, and the Perry’s Emporium Team.

Today, American Legion Post 10, Books-A-Million, Pajama Jams, and Junior League have joined the effort to ensure all child survivors of abuse who visit the Carousel Center for forensic/medical, family advocacy, or trauma therapy services, within the last year, will not have to worry about providing their children a warm and wonderful Christmas morning!

We Believe! Do you?
